Purplelights
Singapore

The idea of Purplelights started back in 2011 right after the Nike We Run Singapore 2011 leg. The simplest idea of getting some folks together and run some miles together, kinda like a social running event, where we run and chat along beautiful routes and ending the run with a meal, we love to eat and we love to run. Our commitment is to approach running as an expression of fun. Personal fitness becomes a natural progression but is never the main focus.

It also became a platform for us especially as we live in multi-racial country, where we have folks from racial background coming together for a common purpose. We’ve also seen the growth of overseas runners coming to Singapore over the years, we’ve met friends from London, Copenhagen, Chicago, Russia, China, HongKong just to name a few, and it is really a pleasure to have the opportunity to host them while they are in town, Much love to the Bridge the gap movement.

So, with that being said, if there is any runners from ANY part of the world that comes to Singapore in the future, be it running or just simply hanging out, we will be more then happy to welcome you!
